In a critical operation, the Indian Army successfully defused an improvised explosive device (IED) in Badibagh-Pahu, Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir, averting a potential major terrorist attack. The bomb disposal squad received information about the explosive device planted by terrorists at a specific location along a roadside

Swift action from the army ensured the safe defusal of the IED, preventing a potentially catastrophic incident. This incident comes nearly four years after the tragic terrorist attack on February 14, 2019, in Pulwama, where a suicide bomber affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed targeted a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy, resulting in the martyrdom of around 40 soldiers.
